      Eugene Onegin (Saw Fiennes/Tyler movie, read Pushkin novel-in-verse in 3 translations, watched 2 productions of Tchaikovsky opera, now reading secondary material before reading novel again. L.A. Opera is performing it this Sept.Oct.!)
      Queen of Spades (came across libretto of Tchaikovsky opera of Pushkin short story, listened to ballet and symphonic adaptation & watched 1910 silent movie before finally reading short story, then watched Russian production of opera. *Very* different kind of story from EO)
