Each one of us will provide a paragraph, or two or three, maybe as much as a page, whatever you feel you need, which introduces a single character, with a little physical description, background, and character description (enough to give other writers something to be consistent with). The only constraint at this point is that the character has to live in or near, or at least be in, Tulia, CA, our fictional town.
The order of the character submissions can then be the order of the circle. Once all the characters are in, we'll start the first round and each writer in turn can start using her/his and the other characters (remaining consistent with what his/her introducer had provided about them) to write the story.
